PROCESS ENGINEER

Our client was established over 75 years ago and is still growing. They are a family owned, family-oriented company with low turnover. They have asked us to help them find a Process Engineer for their mfg plant in West Virginia.

We are looking for someone with a BS – Engineering degree and at least 3 years of shop floor, hands-on Process Engineering experience in a mfg plant. (Experience in metal extrusion continuous mfg plant would be a plus).

This is a great growth opportunity to learn from the best engineers in the industry. In this role you will:

• Improve process capability and production volume
• Champion the continuous improvement process
• Develop studies to improve product quality
• Work with equipment designers to develop cost-effective production processes.
• Perform root cause analysis
• Assist Quality to maintain UL, ISO, QCS certifications

This is a high-profile position that reports directly to the plant manager with great opportunities for future advancement within the organization.

Starting base salary is $65 – 75k plus bonus. Relocation assistance is available. Client is not willing to sponsor a US work visa. The candidate for this position will be responsible for monitoring the operations of our systems, including quality and compliance. The candidate should also be able to recommend improvements to the process through the tracking of metrics and reporting of data. The candidate should definitely have strong technical abilities in order to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering
• Familiarity with process control
