Description:

Direct hire opening for an experienced Project Civil Engineer to join a Power Business Unit.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing civil engineering tasks for power generation projects. You will contribute to the successful delivery of projects involving site grading, drainage design, access road design, erosion and sediment pollution control, stormwater management, report preparation, and permitting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of civil engineering tasks for power generation projects.
  • Develop site grading and drainage designs to support project goals.
  • Design access roads, erosion and sediment pollution controls, and stormwater management systems.
  • Prepare detailed engineering reports and technical documentation.
  • Manage permitting processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
  • Apply engineering best practices and innovative solutions to complex project challenges.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) License with reciprocity in multiple states.
  • Minimum of 10 years of civil engineering experience, preferably in the power generation industry.
  • Extensive experience in site grading, drainage, road design, erosion control, stormwater management, and permitting.
  • Strong technical expertise in civil engineering design software and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
