Coordinates and facilitates afterschool tutoring services. Oversees daily lessons and activities that focus on improving academic success. The teacher assists students with class assignments, study skills, enrichment activities, and homework. Teachers should be available to meet with parents/guardians to discuss their children's performance and any areas needing improvement. Maintaining an organized and clean classroom environment and ensuring students conduct themselves appropriately.

Relationship to Others:
1. This person will coordinate with building staff and administrators to ensure homework, test prep, and class projects are completed.
Qualifications:
1. Valid West Virginia teaching certificate
2. Must be employed as a Lincoln County Schools classroom teacher.
3. Good understanding of curriculum, assessment, and technology
4. Must be certified in CPR + First Aid

Functions and Duties:
1. Main responsibility is to increase individual student achievement, review content, problem-solving, enrichment activities, and check daily assignments. Teachers may also help students develop study skills and organization techniques to help improve their academic performance.

Terms of Employment:
1. November 2024 through May 2025 - The schedule may vary based on funding and enrollment
2. $25.00 per hour
3. 245-345 pm - Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
4. Must use the Celeritime system to clock in and out.

POSITIONS MAY BE ELIMINATED IF ENROLLMENT DECREASES
STAFF TO STUDENT RATIO IS 1 STAFF PER 15 STUDENTS
