Tact Staff is seeking a travel Radiology Technician for a travel job in South Charleston, West Virginia.

Radiation badge: Required to be provided to traveler by agency; facility will not provide.
Unit: Radiology Tech
- # Suites/labs: 2
- #cases per day on average: 10-May
- Required Certifications: BLS and AART
- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Diagnostic left and right heart caths, PCI, IABP, Impella,
Temporary pacemaker, TCAR, EVAR, EKOS, AIF, IVC filters, Infusaports, Permacaths, Vasc surgeon
does procedures in cath lab- filters, venograms.
- Job Duties: Rad Techs scrub and assist physician, need to know sterile technique. Prefer EKOS
experience but can train. RNs circulate, sedate, and complete documentation requirements.
- Experience: Prior Cath Lab or Rad Tech experience. First time traveler okay with good experience.
One year of experience.
- EMR/Equipment: Siemens software and equipment
- Cardiologist hours/on call: On Call 24-7
- Manager/Charge Nurse: Director, Coordinator and a Charge Nurse
- Cath Lab Techs: Yes, Rad Techs
- Shifts & Scheduling: Five days per week, start and stop times are subject to the number of cases
scheduled and the times they are scheduled.
- Weeknight/Call Requirement: One week of on call per four week schedule. Monday 7 AM to
following Monday at 7 Am. For that week. Any hours off the clock, they are on call. Travelers can
break up call days to equal one week per four week schedule.
- Weekend/Call Requirement: Friday after hours until Monday Morning 0700 (if they are not doing
the Monday- Monday call time.)
- Holiday/Call Requirement : Rotational
- Is there a mandatory call/standby requirement?: Yes, Rad Techs.
- What is call response time?: 30 minutes
- Floating Requirements: No- if extra hours wanted, there are units they can go to if they have
experience.
- Scrub Color/Dress Code: Surgical attire- provided. Lead not provided.
- Unit/Department specific orientation: General hospital orientation, Nursing orientation, Computer
training in the department, one week or up to 36 hours of orientation time to the department
