About the Job:
The HR Coordinator is responsible for coordinating one or more human resources core processes including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, training, benefits, compensation, employee relations and recognition. Assists with the day-today HR operations and maintenance of positive work environment and employee relations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Coordinates new hire and benefits orientation, employee training programs, hiring support, job analysis, compensation analysis, and/or routine employee relations.

• Assists in developing and executing recruiting plans including job posting and scheduling interviews.

• Tracks status of candidates and responds to inquiries. Conducts pre-employment screening, prepares offer letter. Initiates onboarding of new hires.

• Verifies timely licensures and certifications of new employees and incumbents.

• Assists new employees with completion of new hire paperwork and onboarding.

• Serves as a resource person and assists in the orientation of new employees.

• Acts as first point of contact with employees and supervisors on HR-related inquiries.

• Applies judgement and discretion to HR issues and concerns and directs any complex issues to more senior HR staff.

• Updates and maintains employee data in HRIS and ensures confidential handling of sensitive information.

• Manages processes connected with the onboarding of new employees, process terminations largely consisting of ensuring data entry and communication to respective departments.

• Interprets and communicates routine organizational policies and procedures.

• Evaluates and applies information to provide advice to employees and management staff on Human Resources practices, policies, processes and expectations.

• Ensures personnel files and related documents are created, organized and maintained in an easily retrievable format and conform to audit/review standards. Audits files regularly to ensure compliance.

• Assists with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties. Supports special projects and events related to these functions.

• Ensures human resource information are kept confidential.

• May perform activities in a variety of cross-functional areas and interact directly with corporate employees with respect to planning, problem resolution, process improvement and reporting.

• Organizes and attends career fairs and employee events as directed.

• Prepares monthly reports to ensure all employees are in compliance with federal, state and licensing agency regulations

• Associate's degree in Human Resources, business or related field required OR High School diploma plus related comparable experience.

• Two or more years' human resources experience required, preferably in healthcare field.
