Great opportunity for SHE Specialist, to technically and strategically coordinate the Safey and Environmental programs for an expanding global chemical plant. The role ensures compliance with government regulations and company policies while promoting a safe working environment. Candidates must have experience in both safety and environmental compliance, with a focus on supporting the organization in meeting SHE objectives.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain SHE policies, procedures, and programs.
Oversee SHE program management, including auditing, monitoring, reporting, and record keeping.
Provide technical guidance and support on SHE issues across the organization.
Coordinate and assist in training employees and contractors on SHE-related topics.
Conduct audits, inspections, and investigations, and recommend corrective actions.
Qualifications:
BS Safety, Health, Environmental Engineering, or a related field 5+ years in Safety/ Environmental experience in chemical manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of SHE regulations and best practices, including:
Federal and state air, water, and waste regulations, RCRA, OSHA / PSM, NFPA, TSCA
Proven experience in SHE compliance within the manufacturing sector.
Familiarity with current regulatory requirements and chemical industry standards.
Ability to work now or in the future without sponsorship.
