Together, we are committed to a safe working environment for all of us.Your responsibilities* Organizes and plans the use of painting and blasting equipment and materials for the various projects* Ensures that the blasting and painting equipment is properly maintained and in a ready state of operation* Abrades surfaces of metal or hard-composition objects to remove adhering scale, sand, paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt, and to impart specified finish using abrasive-blasting equipment* Examines and measures finished surfaces to ensure conformance to specifications* Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions* Willingness to cross-train and perform the work of other job tasks in addition to the primary assigned positionPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
