Interested in joining our Team?Description Team Fishel , the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is looking to hire an Office Lead Teammate for the Professional Services Group (PSG) , located in Columbus, Ohio. This role works with a Senior Office Lead in supporting our Survey & Engineering division within Team Fishel. Career opportunities in the future include promotion to Office Management .The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, accounting, be detail-oriented and familiar with construction. Working well as part of a team is essential. We are looking for someone with a strong sense of ownership, accountability and pride in their work. They must be able to problem solve, and improvise when necessary. Curiosity and willingness to learn are great attributes to bring to this position.This position requires someone who works well with multiple deadline-driven responsibilities, ability to multitask and communicate effectively on workload and changing priorities. Increasing productivity, being Accident Free and developing our Teammates is our "Fishelosophy".Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:Material Inventory Reconciliation (Weekly and Monthly tracking)Purchase Orders & Accounts Payable – Full cycle A/P understanding is preferred. This position is responsible for taking calls from all field employees requesting to purchase goods and services. Issuance of Purchase Orders, verifying delivery or receipt of product/service, reconciling statements/invoices for payment authorization and accurate job costing, researching and setting up vendors locally and out of state for goods and services.Enter and manage daily payroll & equipmentCommunicate with customers, Division Manager and supervisorsCollecting and analyzing data using Microsoft ExcelCreate and compile billing invoices using internal and customer systemsTrack and maintain billing spreadsheets and estimatesResearching and compiling dataEnsure accurate job costingAccounts Receivable as neededOther office duties as assignedRequirements & QualificationsMust be able to work with high volume and meet deadlinesIdeal candidate will have experience in utility constructionMust be detail-oriented and exhibit proficiency in MS Excel and WordDemonstrate superior communication, organizational, and prioritization skillsMust be extremely versatile and able to work both independently and as part of a teamMust be able to occasionally work overtimeBilingual in Spanish and prior construction experience is a plusTeam Fishel offers excellent industry training and a career development path for our Teammates.
