Recreational Aid
Summary: Performs a broad range recreational duties and tasks in support of the summer recreational programs.
Work Hours: This position will work a designated schedule established by the Department Head or his or her designee. It is also expected this position will work other hours including nights, weekends and/or holidays and/or in adverse weather conditions as necessary or requested in order to fulfill the City's vision and/or to accomplish departmental goals.

Essential Duties: Include but are not limited to the following.
Provides various assistance and support at one or more recreational community centers including, but not limited to greeting patrons, answering telephones, enforcing community center rules, and facility maintenance.
Assist with creating and supervising community center programs and activities.
Assist with cleaning and sanitizing high usage areas within the recreational community centers. Such duties could include, but not limited to sweeping floors, mopping floors, picking up trash along the grounds, wiping glass doors and mirrors, wiping down cardio and weight equipment, taking out trash, cleaning bathroom stalls, etc....
Registers golfers, collects green fees and provides other support at Cato Park golf shop.
Takes food and drink orders and collects payments at one or more swimming pool concession stands.
Additional duties may include Pool Manager duties.
And all other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience: Previous experience performing similar duties desired.
