Position Title:

• Temporary Summer Paint Crew Workers (The is being re-posted for more workers, if you applied before you do not need to apply again.)
• JMHS, MCTC, Head Start Building, MVS, PES/PMS and Monroe County Board Office.

• Summer paint crew applicants will paint at the schools and the board office and must be able and willing to climb scaffolding and ladders.
• Note: This position cannot interfere with regular duties and/or schedule of current employees and must be completed before school starts in August.

• High School diploma or equivalent, pursuant to WV Code §18A-2-5;
• Criminal background check conducted pursuant to WV Code §18-5-15c;
• Meet the definition of "Qualifications" in WV Code §18A-4-8b;
• demonstrated competency, pursuant to WV Code §18A-4-8e (state-approved competency test) as required: painting.
• Preference will be given to 200 Day Employed Custodians or current Monroe County School Employees.

• Daily Rate of Pay $133.45 (Base Rate) Salary based on experience and education level per Monroe County BOE salary schedule.

• June 12, 2025 As needed, not to exceed 4 days per building

• June 5, 2025 @ 3:00 P.M.
