This position will assist the Registered Nurse with ensuring the Health Service Workers are performing and completing their assignments. This position will serve as a preceptor to the Health Service Workers by orienting new staff to the position and ensuring they have been trained in all aspects of the position, per hospital policies. This position will also assist with patient care, when needed, providing assistance with Adult Living Skills. Perform other related duties as assigned.
This is a tobacco free facility. Chosen applicants must successfully complete a chemical urinalysis and breath analysis alcohol and drug screening test. All employees shall be subject to alcohol and drug testing for probable cause as set forth in Agency and Bureau policies. Must be able to work holidays and weekends. Mandatory overtime is an essential function of this position. Candidates must successfully pass a background screening. This position is eligible for a $5,000 appointment incentive for successful candidates who agree to work for the facility for at least twelve (12) months.

Minimum Qualifications
Education:

High school diploma or the equivalent.

Licensure/Certifications:

None.

Experience:

One (1) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid or volunteer experience in the care, treatment and development of patients or residents of a healthcare facility.
