Job Details

Accountabilities:

* This position will be responsible for the safe and compliant repair and maintenance of underground mining equipment.

* Diagnose malfunctioning (electrical, mechanical and hydraulic) components required in an expeditious manner.

* Maintain permissibility and repair malfunctioning and down equipment.

* Lock-out/tag-out equipment at power sources.

* Maintain records of repair and maintenance activities, preventive maintenance activities and work orders and schedule activities.

* COs and Tracking Communication

* Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

* Minimum 2 years UG maintenance experience

* Ability to pass an electrical, mechanical and hydraulic test

* Able to read and interpret complex blueprints and electrical and hydraulic circuits schematics.

* Know the standard operating procedures for the installation of electrical power distribution boxes and systems.

* Know the lock-out/tag-out procedures.

* Know how to energize, de-energize and operate underground equipment.

* Knowledge of lubrication and service requirements.

* Know the Safe Job Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, company safety policies, and applicable rules and regulations.

Certifications/Licenses:

WV Underground Miner's Certification

WV/MSHA Underground Electrical Certification
