Under general supervision, the Human Resources Administrative Associate performs basic level Human Resources tasks in the Department of Health and Human Services, Bureau for Social Services. This position will provide assistance to new and tenured staff including preparing documents for the new hire process, new employee orientation, UKG timecard auditing, creating and maintaining various tracking logs and acts as the liaison between the district office, the Bureau for Social Services HR staff and the Office of Human Resources Management. Other duties may be assigned.

Example of Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Entering job posting and requisition requests through the NeoGov online system.
  • Contacting potential new hire candidates and scheduling interviews.
  • Document preparation for all types of personnel transactions.
  • Attending Management team meetings and recording minutes for the district's Social Service Manager.
  • Typing correspondence for the district's Social Service Manager.
  • Maintain monthly reports, including, but not limited to, Organizational Charts, Vacancy and New Hire Charts, Interview Tracking, Social Work Licensure and Workers Compensation logs.
  • Act as clerical support for other staff members.

Minimum Qualifications
Education:

High school diploma or the equivalent.

Experience:

One (1) year of full-time or equivalent part-time experience performing clerical or secretarial work.

Substitution Information: Additional education and experience may be substituted based on a year-for-year basis or as determined by the Office of Shared Administration Equivalency Chart.
